The club organise various social events throughout the year. These are sometimes combined with rides and sometimes purely social so that partners and families can join in. The best place to find out the latest information on what is happening is on our forum. If you have any other suggestions please post up there or let one of the committee know.
Club Dinner
The annual club dinner and prize presentation is on Saturday 19th November 2011 at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Manchester. Tickets will be £25 which will include a 3 course meal, after dinner speaker Kerry Kayes of CNP and all the usual annual presentations and a few surprises. Trips
We have also organised lots of trips away to ride, race or watch events both in the UK and abroad. In 2008 a group of 20 of us went cycling in Mallorca in March, weekends away mountain biking and competing in mountain mayhem and in November we went to Ghent to watch the six day and a national cyclo-cross event. In 2009 we had 22 riding in Tuscany for a week in March, a B&B weekend to Hawes, Mountain biking in Swaledale and several members competing in the Etape and Duo Normand.
Club Events
The club events are a great place to meet everyone and as they start and finish in a pub carpark we tend to stay around after the event for food, drink and to catch up. We also organised a barbeque after our Open 50 in 2010 which was a great evening and brought a lot of members together that wouldn't normally meet.
Christmas Ride and Lunch
The Christmas ride will be on Sunday 12th December. The ride is again timed to coincide with a trip to the M&DTTA Christmas 10 mile time trial. As last year, there will then be a meal at the Egerton Arms, Chelford from 2pm onwards. Further details will be provided closer to the time. Christmas Drinks
We also organise an evening of Christmas drinks visiting the Christmas market and other hostelries in and around Manchester city centre. Further details of this year's date will be provided soon.

Many of the club members are keen to meet up for social events more often so if you have any ideas for club social events or would be willing to organise something, please let us know.
