BBQ and social
This year we will again be holding a club BBQ after the 50 mile time trial but it will held at the TT HQ after the race, this gives us more room, the chance to have a proper BBQ and more flexibility as to when we can start eating.
Please note the BBQ is open to all members and their families / significant others, not just those entering or marshalling the 50 mile time trial.
The HQ and BBQ Venue is Allostcok Village Hall (map is here link ). There is a huge field for parking and sitting out if the weather is good (but bring a blanket or deckchair), if its cold and/or wet we will have the use of the hall. The hall is booked until 10.30 pm so there will plenty of time to unwind and relax after your efforts in the 50 (or marshalling it) or just catch up with a few of your club mates. The BBQ will be fired up after the 50 so start time will be 5 - 6 pm.
To keep matters simple the BBQ will be the usual burgers, sausages and salad etc. There will be no bar, instead we propose to have a "bring your own" arrangement. It's cheaper for everyone and you all get to drink your favourite tipple! Just make sure you bring a big enough supply to last the evening. I will however bring some plastic glasses for everyone.
