Next members meeting Thursday 28th Jan 7pm at the Lass O'Gowrie.
Following last year's successful meeting we are again organising a meeting to discuss the forthcoming season. The meeting will be held at 7pm on Thursday 28 January in the Lass O Gowrie pub: http://www.thelass.co.uk.
The meeting will be informal - it is an opportunity to get together and make plans for the forthcoming season. This meeting will also be ideal opportunity for those who are new members who are new to racing of any discipline to come and chat to some of the more experienced members and find out more about what's involved and make plans. Topics are likely to include (following last year's format):
- introduction to various bodies within cycling and benefits of membership
- introduction to different types of racing, how to enter, what to expect etc
- discuss plans for training specific rides including Saturday chain gang;
- recap on the events calendar and results section of the members website;
- organise riding trips such as warm weather training week, youth hostel weekends etc
