Hello ladies,

Viv mentioned this one- so come on, does anyone fancy having a go? I am entirely new to time trialling. I'm happy to make a team up of any ability just to get out and have a go at it.

Hey Ruth and Viv, did you go this week? I haven't done a Tuesday night race yet as I've been busy with run training but I do want to have a go at a few. Are you going next week?

Hi Jo,
Yes I went was a bit slower too which was good! I'm definitely planning on going again this week do you think you'll make it??

Hi Ruth, really sorry I didn't make it down again this week, I won't next week either. I'm a bit too focused on running at the moment until beginning of June. I'll try and make it down once the race I'm training for is done.

That sounds like even less fun than chasing Will and Tom up hills, Andy. Big Grin

Met's always wrong but the forecast is for low level clouds tomorrow, which could mean low visibility up in the Peaks. Dont forget a rear light just incase. See you all at Costa in the morning.

Got the Etape du Dales on Sunday where I'm going to have to chase Matt around the hills for 115 miles so I think I'll pass sorry. Best save the legs...

Nothing like a good battering up the wizard to wake the legs up

Shall put the route in my Garmin so should I get drawn into taking a flyer off the front with Will we wont get lost!

It takes more than luck - it takes talent, training, dedication and suffering.

Best of luck guys

So rothers is going from the flag for a solo 30 mph win in the wind.... legend!

For the rest of us mortals, I am a master un-tactician so can't offer any brilliant insight. I would suggest that we try and stick together towards the first half of the peloton - it's windy so the group might split. If we stick together it will be easier to stay in the front half and we can help each other out in the wind. The only other thing I can think of is we should keep an eye out for one of us being in the break then we have an excuse not to work on the front.

Also it will look proper cool if there are 7 of us together in full kit and looking cool is 99.9% of the point

I'm going to have a crap race..

Spent the best part of last night readying myself, picking glue off a rim before gluing the b*****d on ( insert swear words usually associated with tub gluing and seating ). Spin the thing round and it starts making a lovely clunking sound like the freehub or bearings have seized up. Then realise that i canot find my casette tool and chainwhip etc. Thhen my cleat snaps on the way to the station.

sounds like the dog ate your homework Mike
