We have lots of members that take part in sportives both at home and abroad. These can provide a great challenge and a focus for improving your fitness and endurance. They are also a good way of riding in new places and seeing how you compare with others on some tough climbs.
We plan to target some events next year to ride as a club, details to follow. We will also organise some sportive style long rides that will enable people to have a similar challenge ride without the entry fee that goes with it. If you have ideas or can help organise these events please send your ideas to sportives@manchesterwheelers.co.uk.
