This is the little gadget Cycling weekly have been raving about. You put it on your phone and with the help of a standard chest strap you can log your heart rate. You then download software and it tells you when you should have a rest day based on your heart rate variations. Perfect for those who tend to over train. It has been getting a lot of praise from the sporting world. This looks awesome. Unfortunately it doesn't currently support ANT+ HRM straps. I hope they have this in the pipeline for release in the future. I'd like to try it out.

I've had a read of their website and estimate that this would be useless for 99% of 3rd and 4th cats who get by on naff all training.
I do wonder how much advertising they are placing in the rag formerly known as the comic for such a ringing endorsement.
