Started using one of these at my local sports centre a few weeks ago with a view to it being an aid to winter training. Find them quite good but was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with them and what their thoughts are?

Local Sports Centre (Sttretford) has two at the moment with a view to getting more in if demand increases. They also offer a 'performance analysis' to go with it.

Cheers

read in the comic this week that the UK's top Elite rider does most of his training on a wattbike. Must be pretty good on that basis... though all depends on how hard you work of course....

Alternatively you could always turn up at the Greyhound on a Tuesday and Thursday. Should work out cheaper than the gym membership. Although don't expect it to be easy. It'll sort you out for the summer boyo. :-)

Suprised he had time to touch one with all the races he competed in this year. Ie I would imagine race conditioning played a significant part.
