So what are your goals for 2012? And what about for the club?
Personally I'm undecided. Maybe try some more sporting courses.
Id love to see lots more women racing next year especially in team time trials and in the mdlca league.
More Wheelers 2nd & 3rd cats & a repeat of that great club result in the north west league.
Some more good results in the mdtta and more team wins for the time triallers.
Wiggo win the tour, lots of Olympics medals & cav world champion again.
Yep, that would do nicely

2. la Marmotte (wife, baby and job permitting)
3. Start racing (ability, legs and bottle permitting)

Just to crack on, keep enjoying riding all my bikes, do some racing, spend a week in the Alps, and stop eating junk food all the time.

How about this for a goal for the women in the club - beat Seamons in the MDLCA league?! Theyre getting some good members, looking forward to some good natured competition.

Start some road racing. (I think that may possibly require increased fitness...) Improve my Time Trialling (I think this may involve increased funds and fitness...)
Increase fitness. Increase funds.

I'll do my usual and have a go at everything with a distinct possibility that I'll be fairly average. I will:- 1. Go under the hour for a 25 TT 2. Shave my legs 3. Finish in the bunch on all TLI races 4. Do a 100 TT 5. Enter some MTB races/events

a) V. tempted to get back into road racing, so maybe try a TLI race and see how long I last! b) I suppose I ought to ride a 10 and 25 (which I never have) c) Also tempted by the track, but nowhere near fit enough, I suspect.
Who knows?

Well when I joined in January of this year my goals were simple. To become fitter, faster and stronger. Method was simple as well. Ride with people that are fitter, faster and stronger than me and hold on for as long as pos. Now I've set one very simple goal for 2012, RACING! I like the idea of racing along side some of the more experience racers but more so along side my new mates. The class of '2011'.

1) Get out more consistently/maintain a level of conditioning/`fitness' whatever. Without freezing to death or falling over too much (main concerns keeping me from going out on rides) 2) Magically get some free money to enable me to buy a road bike 3) Ride said road bike up hills/down hills/in races 4) Ride a 10 mile time trial 5) Ride a 10 mile time trial in under 24 minutes 6) Magically get some free money that will enable me to do the Velodrome SQT's regularly/maybe race in the track league 7) Race in an a**eycat without getting lost! (which has happened EVERY TIME so far!). Maybe win it as a consequence & get some sweet free t-shirts or something. 8) Speaking of which, improve my 500m roller-racing time (PB: a pretty weak 24.6-ish seconds) 9) Hang out with more people who like riding bikes.
That'll do me I think!

1. To reiterate lots of others road racing. Being able to place well would be nice but depends how well training goes
2. Be at the summit of the Tourmalet when the tour passes, dreaming of good weather on july 18th in the pyrenees!
3. To see my 10 mile club TT pb drop by over a minute, interested to see how much faster the new course is going to be.
4. Take advantage of my skinnyness and enter some uphill TT's as oppose to getting my ass kicked by the big boys on the flat edited by Tom R on 10/12/2011

I lowered my 10m TT PB by over 1 minute 30 seconds on the Chelford course. And I'd only set my PB the week before... So yeah. It's quick. It ain't got no bendy bits or hills.
