Hi Nigel, although the idea is to have an intro ride on the first sunday of every month unfortunately theres not always someone available to lead the ride. They do tend to turn up on a adhoc basis so keep checking the rides list as hopefully with you expressing an interest one will be posted up over the next few weeks. Look forward to seeing you out. Hi Jayne. I might join you, if that's OK.
edit: except that my weekend arrangements keep changing, so I might not!
edit 2: I won't be joining you - need to keep Saturday clear. Have a good ride! edited by Nick_G on 01/12/2011

The intro ride is posted for tomorrow (Sunday 4th December), meeting at Gateway at 9.30am, for anyone wishing to come along. All welcome - but as the forecast is pretty yuck, I'll be aiming to keep moving to keep warm, at 15 mph. (I'll probably not manage faster as an average, and no-one's to leave me behind!). Plan is to embrace the rain and cold and take in Long Hill and descend the Cat and Fiddle. Lights advised as vis.might be poor. If weather really grim, and people want, can do cafe stop below summit of C & F. Route has about 2500 feet ascent.
