I am cancelling the the next scheduled meet up on the 7th November. As the the Dinner is on the 19th it seems to make sense to substitute the 7th for the 19th.
Please note that the December date clashes with the AGM. Consequently this is also cancelled. Please try to make the AGM.
I will shortly be posting details of the Christmas 10 ride out and lunch. I'm on holiday this week but will confirm details next week. Save the date in your diary...11th December.

How come is it canceled due to club dinner? I thought people like to socialise more than once a month.

I agree with Will - I enjoy the social nights! I'd still be happy enough to meet for a drink and a chat either at the Gateway or in the centre of town on November 7th. Anyone else?

Since I've complained, and although I'm still new and unknown around here, I'll volunteer. So I'll propose (following John D's original plan) that we meet up at the Gateway on November 7th at 7pm.
John also mentioned in his original post that socials could include things like film nights and lectures (Si Bridge's was a success, for example), so maybe that could be something to discuss: possible social events for next year.
