I read about these figures in Peloton magazine a while back, and after looking around could see nothing else like it on the market. While I like the thought of having iconic coloured figures on my shelf to show my love of the sport and particulaly "le tour", I figured it'd be cool to have one painted in wheelers colours too!
So, I've bought six unpainted ones, and spent the last 2 hours + prepping and painting the first one.
What do you think?

These are for sale at £10 each. I can also paint to your specifications with regard to bike/wheel/kit colours at a small premium, otherwise it's a black bike/wheel and wheelers kit.
PM me or post here if you're interested.

Chris.

ps, this model is running campag, shimano is £60 extra

Chris, they look absolutely cool as f**k! Why not research the local clubs in the area, paint them up in their colours and see if there's are market for selling them on to them as well? (Mental note, steal Chris' idea) Only kiddin mate.

That has occurred to me Tony Wills Wheels, SK Clarion, Macc Wheelers and so on. Loads of clubs in the area. Small steps first though. Need to speed up my painting a bit as I should of been out cycling when I was doing this first one. It'll give me something to do over the long winter nights though

They look top notch, bring a load to the dinner and you can have a little display.
Sure there will be a load of interest from the wheelers and partners looking for xmas present ideas.

Ah but can you do one with a Stronglight chainset, GB centre-pull brakes and bar-end changers to remind me of my youth ??
Seriously, as someone has already said, these figures are really cool. If you have any spare at the PPD I'll buy one.
I'm sure other members will show interest.
Best wishes Chris.

I forgot to bring these along to the dinner on Saturday, so if anyone is interested, I've still got six of the large figures for sale and the single sprint figure (#cough-rothers!#)
Prices are a tenner each plus postage.
