So after weeks of hard negotiating i am very pleased to be able to announce that the clubs annual dinner this year will held at the Ramada Jarvis, Piccadilly. On Saturday 19th November.
Its a fantastic location with great views of the gardens and at that time of year the xmas lights. Easy access for the Metro, Buses, train, taxi's and private car park all on the door step.
With the central location i am hoping we can get more of our members there this year, the club is thriving at the moment and i hope you all show your support this year and come along and meet your fellow members to celebrate whats been a great year for us all. So along with an mouth watering 3 course meal and the presentations i have also been able to secure Kerry Kayes as the after dinner speaker. He's an absolute legend- Owner of CNP, assistant coach and nutritionalist to Ricky Hatton and himself a british bodybuilding champion, he has some fantastic stories to tell so please dont miss him. There'll also be a few surprises in there to make sure everyone has a great night out. Tickets will be just £25 each (less money than a sportive) and the bar will be open until 1am.
Can i encourage all those who are going to do your bit and encourage your fellow members to also come along, mention it on club rides, races your at and anywhere else you get chance to talk to members, past members and friends of the club, please do your bit get and get a real buzz going, after all the more that are there the better the night.
As a start can you reply to this thread if you intend to come along so i can start to get an idea of numbers. If your shy pm me

Hi Will, its a first come first served basis so the quicker the better. they are flying out though so i would try and get a decision as soon as you can.
You'll be missed if you dont come, your a popular member.
Guys let me know how many tickets you need, i'll send on payment details, menu and dietary requirements when i send you the tickets.
I am also looking at getting some discount on hotel rooms for anyone wanting to stay over.

Though many may not believe it, I am still a member even if now nearer Liverpool than Manchester (I know, the counselling's helping)....

Mike - I'll let Mrs F know she's coming. 2 tickets please.

One comment:

This

[quote=] nutritionalist to Ricky Hatton

encourages me - I'm following the same plan: if not training, eat like fury *burp*

Mike, cheers for the organising effort. I'm up for a ticket and I promise to keep quiet during Kerry Kayes' speech. Pete
