5th September 2011.....Put it in your diary!
On the first Monday of every month there will be a Members Social Night from 7pm at The Gateway, Didsbury.
This is a chance to meet members you haven't met before, share ideas and knowledge...........oh and partake of a drink or two. We may in the future decide to hold specific events on those dates such as a film night or even a lecture but in the absence of being told otherwise, it is the Gateway at 7pm first Monday of the month.
Subsequent dates are:
3rd October
7th November
5th December

I'll be working and don't finish till 6.30, but seen as it'll be my last day on shift I may make a detour and pop in for one.

I hope there won't be a social meeting on 5th December as this is the date of our AGM at the velodrome.
There was a poor enough attendance last year without this time also having a rival club function to deter members from attending.
I know the AGM won't be as much fun and you won't be able to get some amber nectar at the velodrome, but please support YOUR club on this important occasion. It's an opportunity for every member to have their say on the management of the club.
I look forward to seeing lots of people there - so much so that there is standing room only.
