I finally got round to uploading the member search onto the website. The club is getting pretty big now so its hard to keep track so thought this might be useful especially for new members.
When you login to the website you can upload an image and a bit of info about yourself and also tick if you are willing to share your email address with other members.
None of the info is available to non members as you have to be logged in to see it so hopefully most people will be happy to share the info.
So...
- log into the website : http://www.manchesterwheelers.co.uk/login.htm [post here or ask if you havent got a login]
- add some info about yourself and upload an image : http://www.manchesterwheelers.co.uk/my-details.htm
- search for other members by part of their name or email : http://www.manchesterwheelers.co.uk/member-search/index.htm
Its up to you what you write but might be good to know what kind of rider/racer you are and if you want add your forum username, mobile etc.
Was a slight rush job so if you notice any problems or strangeness let me know (nicely). Cheers, Viv

Iv been on it, it all seems to work to me!
only one thing, make sure you actually click search instead of just pressing enter,

Seems to work fine for me too; good idea to have all this, i wouldnt feel comfortable putting my details where anybody can read it but im ok with members having access to it.
I didnt realise just how many people are in the club!

I thought i would ressurect this thread following a request last night to see a member list of who is in the club. The functionality is already available for those members that use the website. Here's how...
If you are a member you can login to the website and use the 'member search' page. You can scroll through members or search by name.
What you see beyond the name is up to that member. You will see whatever information they have set by going to 'my details' and updating their profile and image.
Only members can view this section of the site. I am not giving a cast iron guarantee that a hacker couldnt get the information though so only put up what you're willing for people to know.
I know there are member that cant (or wont) access the information online but thats a separate issue we will discuss again at the next meeting and with Chris Wilkinson who made the request.
