If you're in a union or have home insurance I'd check whether you have access to a legal advice helpline with one of them as a first port of call, it will be your cheapest option.
I deal with commercial contracts not employment stuff, whilst employment has its own legislation and case law to consider (esp. when you get into the realms of redundancy, dismissal etc) as a starting point for other matters its just a contractual relationship. I would envisage that if you are being stiffed on overtime the first step is to consider a) the contractual agreement for overtime and, if the employer is in breach of that b) whether or not you need to follow the grievance procedure which should be in your written contract of employment (you have one right?)....
