Thanks to Alan for organising the ride today....
....was by far the biggest group that I have seen on an intro ride - so big we had to split into 2 groups. I think there were some ~26 people - it looked as if we had the best part of 20 new faces. Was great to see.
Looks like there may indeed be demand for more frequent intro rides over the next couple of months?
PS hope your knee is OK Scott. edited by Eugene on 08/08/2010

Ah I was going to ask how it went. I shall stick another intro ride up for 2 weeks time if it was so popular!
Edit....one up for the 22nd edited by Ben_S on 08/08/2010

That's great news. I had a feeling it was going to be a big turnout, i had lots of enquiries this week - combination of people waiting for an intro ride and some people finding us at the SkyRide.
Yes please to anyone that can organise more rides for beginners - 30-35 miles ideal for the intro rides but 40-45 miles will also probably be popular if you can lead a general ride.
Thanks for organising that Alan and hope everyone enjoyed it. Remember theres a members night at the lass o gowrie for any new faces that want to find out a bit about the club, racing and just to say hi. edited by viv on 08/08/2010

yes we made it back OK. Not sure if we followed the same route as you (guess not).....we had a short break in Tatton park for some Q&A. There was a good level of interest in the group, hopefully we will see quite a few back on subsequent rides.

Great to see another short ride down for Sunday after the success of the last one. Anyone else able to lead a ride in the next couple of months - would be good to see more on the list.
