hey
just enquiring about the ride tomorrow - is it ok to just bob along? have been out on the last intro ride, but not a fully paid up member yet.
what sort of pace are you planning? don't want to hold anyone up!
cheers

Vince,
Yeah just turn up at the gateway for 7pm.
Don't worry about pace or holding anyone up, there's a fair amount of climbing for a short ride so it won't be fast and normal club run guidelines apply - i.e. no-one left behind.
See you at 7

Eugene, 2 nights on the trot would be pushing it. Did you have a good run last night - weather was good for sure, hope it's dry tonight I just got a soaking on the way to work. No worries re: weekend, I'm otherwise engaged on Sunday myself. I'll be on CG and TT duty next week if you're about.

there were 6 of us last night. My legs were knackered after Sundays ride so had a shocker - only lasted one lap. Having said that the group only lasted 2 laps as the pace apparently shot up dramatically on the second lap.
Have a good ride on the weekend -I'm away partying - and I'll see you next week edited by Eugene on 28/07/2010

Hi Vince,
I don't know who you went riding with but it wasn't the Wednesday night wheelers group? There were only 4 of us on the ride tonight, we waited at the Gateway for you until about 7:10pm
Where did you go? how many were out? I wonder if you ended up with the Ken Fosters guys.

it was a big group of say 14 riders! was on my way to the gateway via gatley, then saw them, so span round and caught them up. i asked one guy if they were with the wheelers and he said yes!
ah well, no worries - i've been dropped by the chorlton velo before thought 20 odd mph was a bit quick! edited by vince on 28/07/2010

Ok I don;t know who that was, maybe Wills Wheels or Ken Fosters.
Don't be too hard on yourself though, get out on more rides and you'll soon pick up speed and stamina - to qoute one wheeler 'it's only a case of pedalling faster'
