Right everyone, I'm bored at work tonight so decided to compile a mid season leader board for the Best All Rounder competitions (Long, Middle, Short and Ladies)

I've trawled through the results on the Wheelers website, the CTT website and the Time Trialling forum. If I've missed any rides out or you've improved any of your times then let me know or add your result onto the Wheelers website.

Remember, Club events dont count towards this competition! All results have to be in Open events and you must keep the result sheets to prove your times at the end of the year.

So far......

Long Distance - 50mile, 100mile and 12Hr

No Qualifiers as yet

Middle Distance - 25mile, 50mile and 100mile

1st Martin Harney 24.92 MPH (1:2:48, 1:55:48, 4:00:12)
2nd Nick Warrington 24.635 MPH (58:20, 2:01:02, 4:16:21)

Short Distance - 10mile, 25mile and 50mile

1st Scott Burns 28.51 MPH (20:08, 51:58, 1:51:35)
2nd Si Morton 26.93 MPH (20:47, 53:18, 2:06:08)
3rd Martin Harney 25.38 MPH (22:45, 1:02:48, 1:55:48)
4th Ian Jones 23.93 MPH (24:08, 1:02:15, 2:11:13)
5th Richard Weltman 22.82 MPH (25:20, 1:08:44, 2:10:36)
6th David Brett 22.78 MPH (25:13, 1:08:36, 2:12:12)
7th Mike Cleary 22.09 MPH (26:58, 1:06:26, 2:19:52)
8th Charles Gray 21.17 MPH (27:51, 1:08:07, 2:30:20)

Ladies - 10mile, 25mile and 50 mile

No Qualifiers as yet (Rach, i'm sure you've done a 25 but cant find any results anywhere)

Hope it all makes sense, sorry if i've missed anyone out, let me know if you have ridden any of the qualifying distances and i'll add you.
Maybe we could set something up on the website so it automatically collates this info as people add there results?

So, there is less than 3 months in the racing calender left (qualifying rides must be done before Sept 30th) so get those entries in guys and girls and claim your trophies!

Nice one Scott! I always meant to add a page to the website with automatic calculations of these but things like work and life keep getting in the way.

Tut, tut Rach - you havent been putting your results up on the website? No mars bars for you this week.

Nice one Scott, great job. Humph, an extra 0.2 mph seems such a piffling amount but my experience from the YCF 50 last week tells me it's not. I was desperate to go under 2 hours and hit my season target but the wind and my legs over the last 10 miles defeated me

..still got another 100 to have a bash at next week. Another 4 hours of self-abuse in the hope of scraping a minute or two off a pb, testing is an odd game innit!

your list has reminded me I'd better find a 10 to do so I can at least make it on to the Short distance BAR list

You know it makes sense Ant.... you need to experience at least one 50 where you have to climb off the bike and lie on the verge next to a dual carriageway for 10 minutes as soon as you cross the line... makes everything else (apart from 100s) seem so much more pleasurable

Glad its not just me, everyone else seems to be able to gently roll back to the HQ whilst I have to lie down, wretch, go dizzy, get tunnel vision etc... mind you, not as bad as when you feel like that with 15 miles to go....

Even more impressive in a middle markers event with an LTS limit of over 59 minutes, brilliant improvement

Rich Weltman improved his 25 time a while back and Rach Shepherd has told me her 25 time so now is included in the listings

Uk oh Ant, you're been publicly outed. An innocent admin error im sure.

I need to find a free weekend to do a 25 then. I should at least offer Rach some competition.
Must also sort out something for the longer distances next year, i wont be competing for a women's 100 trophy but someones else might!
