Will found a load of people discussing whether our jersey is rubbish on bikeradar, its pretty funny :

I wanted to reply but always have trouble logging into the site for some reason.

Personally i am proud to wear our kit and have had quite a few messages from random people over the years saying its a classic. I love seeing some legends of the sport wearing the same kit as we do today. It might not be like everyone else's but thats why i love it. We are who we are and if you like us, join us.

It's good to see Will keeping intellectual argument alive on Bikeradar.

Yeah most forum threads descend into trash after the first couple of posts...bike forums are no exception.

I'll be travelling through Yorkshire on Saturday or Sunday with a wheelers jersey on, I'll be doing all my club runs with a wheelers jersey on, I'll be doing all my races with a wheelers jersey on, and I'll be doing all my TT's with a wheelers jersey on.

You'll need to have it surgically removed by the time you're 25.

Tip when your forearm hairs start growing through it you need to take it off

Have to admit that the jersey was the reason I joined the Wheelers as I didn't know anyone in the local clubs after moving up here.

Wearing it in a French sportive recently I lost count of the positive comments from other Brits along the lines of 'classic jersey' and most of them were from down south. Seems like there's still a lot of petty jealousy amongst some of the local clubs!

the guy slagging it off actually has one leg. He rides for the irish paraolympic squad, he's a top bloke tbh, I'm sure its tongue in cheek. Probably more to get a rise out of will!

Comment wasn't actually aimed at him...more at the Macc Wheelers jersey/colours actually.
