does anyone want to saddle up with me a do a paired effort for this 24 hour MTBike event - up for going solo but if anyone fancies sharing the effort let me know.

Count me in as a possibility, though not sure if I'll have left for my summer hols by then.
I've riden loads of SITS in a team of 4 but have always wanted to try as a pair.

Hi Ben,
i think Jay has already stepped up to the plate.
i'm seeing him tomorra to go through the details of it...if we dont go ahead i'll let you know straight away.
are any other Wheelers out there up for putting other 2 / 4 man teams together? could be an awesome weekend (if we get the weather!)

That's good news, always better to have more than not enough ! - do you think you'll enter as 'Manchester Wheelers' or make something up ?
My plan B is to go solo 24hr - I've done this on the road, and would like to try offroad too !

yeah Jay and i are entering as a pair - would go under the name of Mcr Whlrs and wear the kit with pride!!
going to send the application and fee in this week.
top effort if you go in as a solo - we'd all have to get pitched up in the same place when down there etc

John - as a solo I didn't have to give a team name, but I'll certainly be wearing a wheelers top.
I think there's a separate camp site for solo riders (nearer the start), so I really will be a billy-no-mates during those 24 hours...
I'm still not sure who else is riding from the club (Jerry, Mick, Scott, Mike at least) - I'll see who I recognise on the day.
I'm doing one last MTB training ride the Saturday before if you're interested - it'll be a bit of a long slog. I've put it up on the ride list.

Ill be there so will come and cheer you on. Emily from the club was also intending on riding it solo so you could have had some competition but sadly shes injured.

We should all sort out some form of car sharing. I may be able to give one person a lift.
