Guys,

i'm heading of to London tomorrow for the start of my cycle from london to cannes / 1500KM in 5 days.

i aim to get the full distance under my wheels but we'll have to see how the body hold ups.

its also an oppotunity to raise money for charity.

if you can spare 2mins read on and if you'd like to chip in with anything that would be very much appreciated indeed.

see you in a week or so - still in one piece i hope!

cheers, jc.............I’m asking around all of my practice and personal contacts in an attempt to raise donations for charity.
I have been given the fantastic opportunity by HKR Architects to cycle from London to Cannes as part of the MIPIM (the world’s premier real estate summit) in March 2010.
The ride will start in London on March 11th and finish in Cannes 5 days later after cycling what could be up to 1500KM…depending on how the legs and glutes hold up of course!
Being a very keen cyclist this is a fantastic personal opportunity. However such an event also provides an occasion for raising money through donation for much needed charities.
‘Cycle to Cannes’ (C2C), the organisation hosting the cycling event has set up an online donation with Just Giving, a reputable and secure web based facility that will be collecting all donations.
‘Cycle to Cannes’ is a grant making charity. It currently raises funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, The Sarah Matheson Trust, Article 25, Tom's Trust and Land Aid. Selected one-off grants to charities supported by our fundraisers are also made.
Please see link below.

If you could please support me in my efforts to raise donations your help will be gratefully appreciated.

I’ll let you know how much of the 1500KM I get under the wheels!
