There are only 2 things you need to spend your money on if you want to race for the club :

1) Getting your bike in top condition
2) A Manchester Wheelers Jersey

Get over to Eddie McGrath cycles...

If your're absolutely stuck, have no money at all, and need to race, then I can lend you a jersey. But you'll need a good excuse !

I'm off to buy a wheelers jersey later, just I know if my bike breaks, if my rear wheel goes, BB goes, forks snap, frame snaps, I'll be off the bike for quite a while.

I might take it to a bike shop for a service, but that'd be 50 quid maybe more and I'd much rather do it myself I want to be good at fixing bikes.
