I told you what headset you needed ages before you posted this thread.

Campag style 45/45

FSA Orbit CE Campagnolo Integrated Headset would do the job, as would a Campagnolo Chorus Hiddenset Threadless Headset

However there's no rush, it shouldn't stop you racing saturday, give the bearings and cups a good clean out, pack with grease and refit.

They have plenty of grease on.

They must be done for also, as turning the bars is rough, and also locks in the straight position.

I've got one of those......

Serious piece of advice for you all. Unless you know EXACTLY what headset you are running, don't assume that your headset is a specific size, order a standard one of the web and attempt to fit it yourselves. Manufacturers play every trick in the book to make you keep going back to them!

Just found out that the one on my soon to be TT rig is an old Columbus specific thing that is almost 1.5" rather than 1 1/8". I've not been using theis frame on the road due to a what i thought speed wobble.. in truth the replacement headset was the wrong size - and that was the cause. So after 2 years off the road i'll have a nice new frame to ride !

Mine was getting a little rough on the turning and snagged from time to time, took it to bits, cleaned it up removed all the old grease and the debri that was in it, re-greased and put it back to gether now its perfect....just because they have plenty of gease dosnt mean that grease isnt full of ground up bits of metal or sand/salt/anyother crap picked up on the road......mine felt more like swarfega when i rubbed the old grease between my fingers

I re greased it, the locking has stopped, but it's still rough.
