Big thanks Becks for leading the ride today, cracking route and no way id have done 100 miles today without you guys. Good morale, rode as a group the whole way and looked after each other. Majorly impressed with anna-the-runner who looked suspisciously strong for someone thats not been riding and new-anna doing nearly 90 miles on her first ride with us. Rach, Pip and Becks all did long turns on the front, ill make it up to you assuming i come back stronger. Hope youve all dried out now!
BTW next sunday is the womens ibikemcr ride but if anyone fancies a ride next Saturday let me know.

Thanks Viv, strangely enjoyable that, despite the rain = ) Great to have so many of us clocking up the miles and equally impressed with how strong everyone was given the enforced snow break.

For info, the route was: http://bit.ly/896Eiq It's a good one if you want to get the miles in with the safety net of never being too far away from home!

I had to do a convoluted ride home from the gateway to make sure I got the century in. By that time, though, my hands were so numb I couldn't shift onto the big ring which made for a nice excuse to make the last 10 miles nice and gentle!

Nice one for doing the 100 as well, Becks!

loved every minute of it ladies - and well done for finishing on the tonne!
I did take till about half 6 to warm up so it was prob best I left when I did, also got the emails in on time so many brownie points won at work! So all in all a great day!
i think the 100 has to become a ladies wheelers monthly thing!
BTW looking at mudguards as we speak!!! I think it is gonna take a few washes to remove the 'brown stripe'
