I'm at a wedding reception that night.

At the Town Hall, so naturally I'll be slipping out for a, er, breath of fresh air...

Im in! Great night last year. Bonus points for anyone who stays out late enough to get a Tom F style 'and what time do you call this' when they get in

Yes, I'll just need to ensure all of you are suitably attired in your race kit.

You will be in race kit, won't you?

Hurrah! This sounds fun! Work deems 5.30 drinking impossible (Boooooooooo) but I will try and run away early, meet you and try to catch up!

Nice one Pip, just turn up whenever you want and give me a ring if you cant find us. I'm hoping to get out of here before 6.

I'd like it to be known we aren't always so social with lunch and drinks all the time - the serious training starts in January

The standard has been set now, viv- i'm expecting tea and cake mid morning, leffe and a roaring fire at lunch time. Frankly, i will be disappointed if we don't get that on every ride!

I didnt know that ever happened. We left around 1 and started walking home but managed to get a taxi in the end. Was a fun night but not sure ill make drinking in Manchester on a Friday night a regular habit. Kind of screwed up the day a bit but was icy anyway so didnt miss much.

Good to see everyone though. And for anyone that doesnt know Scott he is the one on the left: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA760aeS_AI
