Im not a member yet but have been out on a few club runs on Sats and Suns. Cant post a ride yet until my membership comes through but is anyone interested in a ride to the Two Mills (Eureka) cafe on Sunday 8th November or maybe another date, via the Cheshire lanes, Acton Bridge, Delamere etc. Distance is around 90 miles with no real hills.

Regards Kev Wild ( The scouser on the Tarmac SL2 )

Sounds good Kev, will be good to have you on board.

If you're definately going, post up when and where to meet nearer the time and i'll add it to the rides list.

Should be a giggle... I love how every trip to the Eureka turns into a 100 + Mile trawl....

Kev - have added it to the rides list under your name !
I've put 9.30 down as the start time - let me know if you want it adjusting ?

Cheers

May change meeting time to 9.00, that would mean arriving at the Eureka around 12 noon.
The route out will be Ashley, Comberbach, Acton Bridge, Mouldsworth etc, return will most likely be Helsby, Frodsham, Hatton, Whitley, Antrobus

Bikely route
Thats the route I have done a few times if that helps. Its always a bit messy round Chester, I haven't found a good route with out going near a motorway junction or industrial park.

Might be tempted by this depending on how i feel after Sat chaingang.....weather looks promising too.

Is this a leisurely paced ride or will it be a big ring blow out ?

Cheers for the ride today Kev - the frist 40 miles out with you chaps were most pleasant (well, apart from my first Belgian toothpasting of the year courtesy of the odd mudguardless bike...!).

Took the A56 and some lanes back, clocking 90 miles in total AND (and this is the significanrt bit) I was back just a smidge after 2pm as promised.

Hope the Eureka was good!

Turned out not a bad day, hope Dave got home Ok. Had a good laugh with a decent bunch of lads, sorry for hogging the front!! Ive missed the club run thing while being off the bike, it was one of the reasons for getting my back side on the bike again. Thanks for the support.
