Excellent. I have updated the ride details on the website.
We're thinking of doing the christmas 10 on the tandem but definitely up for the lunch part.

Are other halves and other assorted ragamuffins welcome on this? and how much of a meander is it really going to be?

Other halves are encouraged. The ride part of the day is quite fluid so people can do as much or as little as they feel on the day. Weather permitting of course.

Also, just to make it clear for anyone wanting to race the TT rather than just ride out to support, you'll need to enter in the normal way.
If anyone needs details, post up and i'll dig out the address from the CTT handbook.

Theme for the day is bad taste / 80s cyclist - sure you've seen some lovely examples in the other thread!

So, I'm thinking about the TT in the fancy dress category (wearing an existing garish 80s jersey) and then ambling over for lunch and the ride home.

Stu - you can have cash off me on Sunday. You know, when you sell me stuff direct from the back of your van....

Thanks to everybody who has expressed an interest in the meal. It appears the fancy dress theme is 80's cycling jerseys. I'll have to acquire one myself...

Jeremy from the Egerton Arms has emailed me the menu. He has asked us to choose our selections a week beforehand so he can satisfy demand as I don't know how many people will be going. I've asked Viv to email it round to people so get back to me with your choices.

Marvellous.

Definitely still places, if youre coming for lunch you just need to get a cheque to Stu Leyland - if you cant find his details ill put you in touch. If youre doing the TT you might want to go straight there to make sure youre in plenty of time but ill check with Stu.

Places are still available for the meal.

I have received two cheques so far from Ed and Rich W.

Others that have expressed an interest are:

Ian J
Ben S
Viv and Jerry
Tom F
J Crellin
Nick W
Alan B
Pip

So currently we have a possible 13 attending. A few more would be nice so give your money to Viv at the dinner.

Thanks.

I'm def up for it Stu, menu looks good, yet to order a suitably shocking jersey to wear though!

The low calorie lunch option of pate starter and pork belly main course will be my preferred options
