If anyone is up for coming out for a long ride with me on the weekend I will be looking at going around 70-80 miles at an average speed of around 19mph. I will probably be riding mostly around Cheshire. These rides would be good for experienced riders who are looking to do well in road races or time trials next year. If anyone's interested post on here and I will get back to you.

Hi Joe. Just out of interest are you new to manchester or do you just fancy some new people to ride with. Are you planning to join the club. Youre welcome to ride with us though your listed interests are a bit dubious!!!

I intend to get going with that mileage again soon, just next couple of weekends are out. Joe rides for BMC, and is a student at Man Met, he is also from Suffolk... say no more.

As Dave says I'm new to Manchester, and I ride for BMC so wouldn't be looking to join. I'm just trying to find some people that are up for doing some rides at a fairly decent pace. I can plan routes on map my ride and upload them on to my garmin so all of the rides I do will be on quiet roads with little traffic, I can also lead rides if anyone is interested.

Great. Always good to know more people that can lead rides.

We're mostly putting our feet up a bit for October after a long season but the wheelers winter rides will probably become a bit more structured in the next few weeks.

You could, Ant. Some of us may find that a little less, er, "easy".

In like 2 weeks I'll be interested if you'll be doing some rides then, allthough I would prefer a flat ride so I can perhaps keep up with you :p, I think it'd be great to ride with a pro/semi pro.
