Anyone else going to see 4 men in their 60s sit behind laptops?

Fave band probably so I can't frakken wait, haven't seen them since 1981. It starts a couple of hours after the team presentations for the Tour.... [stops typing from drooling over keyboard]

Last saw them at Tribal Gathering in 97 - shortly before i got my rave boots and stopped riding my bike for 8 years !

Actually just found a recording of the above gig.....
Anyone want a copy of it posting to the web as a little teaser ?

I'm there too. Going to be a bit of a poor turn out for the TT. Maybe we should all meet for a drink beforehand. can't remember seeing any bars around there though

There are a few pubs near to the Velodrome but not what I would call friendly.

It may be easier to meet in Piccadilly then take a bus to the Velodrome. Kro Bar is always a good starting point.

I was going to try and fit a quick ride in between work and the gig but if you're going somewhere first let me know. Could go to a bar near where i work and walk up the canal to the velodrome.

Bar Fifty7 on Hilton St is alright - M1 2EJ.

George and I will either see you in Bar Fifty7 (what time?) or at the velodrome.

Don't worry, Viv & Jerry - I haven't sold your tickets on ebay.... yet

Message for John, or anybody going tonight.

I will not be attending this evening. Started a new job today and it's doubtful I will be leaving on time this evening

Shame so few of us can make it especially as it looks set to be a lovely sunny evening.
We'll have to make up for it at the cat & fiddle hill climb (16/7).

Last one to the top of the top bys the drinks...ah, that'll be me then.

Yeah good fun. Seeing Jamie Staff, Gerraint Thomas etc whizzing round the track in the middle of a gig was quite surreal. Would have been even better if some scallies hadnt nicked all the 3d glasses before we got there.

Great to see everyone. Half the club seemed to be there!

Agreed, was absolute quality. I got goosebumps when they started playing Tour de France and the black and white pictures up behind.

(BTW Went to It Felt Like A Kiss at the festival on Friday which was amazing as well, if anyone is going you are in for a treat. It's sold out but if anyone offers you tickets for it, take them! You won't regret it!)
